Gaysians is the umbrella brand for the South Asian LGBTQIA+ community. We bring together all resources, networks and organisations related to being queer South Asians–you can view our partners via our Network page. We also produce our own Content, which you can find via the menu.

Design notes
The Gaysians brand was designed with love for the circular—our logo represents the sun, and its rays our network. It also references the intricate patterns of a mandala, paying homage to our South Asian heritage.

The font, Freight Text, was designed by Joshua Darden, an African American type designer. Although we’re a hub primarily for South Asians, we stand in solidarity with the Black community and acknowledge the rich history of Black and Brown communities uniting in a common struggle.

The signature pink references LGBTQIA+ activism, stemming from the iconic Silence = Death graphic created to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic.
